Legs Get Married, the collection.

People I'd asphixiate myself with a torrent of lost words, if I ever met them.

I've seen Thomas Jenkinson and Tom Waits live, on both occasions I was completely enthralled by their presence!, two brilliant men, and sources of boundless inspiration to me, hats off.

Thomas Jenkinson,

On Saturday Rob and Enda went to see Squarepusher and had their minds simultaneously blown. We're fairly prominant in this video.

Tom on the BBC Culture Show, watch it to the end.

Yer one has no idea what he's talking about, he seems so uncomfortable.

also worth looking at is this interview with Richard D James, friend of Squarepusher, most of you know him as Aphex Twin (and Universal Indicator, and Polygon Window, and Caustic Window, and The Tuss, and....)

In this video, yer one seems proper bet into him and finds him interesting and lovely.

NOICE.

Heading into summer, the music I'm listening to has started to change.
I'm resting the legs of my old minimal and deep house pals. (even though I still listen to them everyday...). I'm feeling excited about all the new avant-wank stuff I've been enjoying so I thought I should share some.

(Efterklang, interestingly enough they own the label that Grizzlybear are signed to.)

Tin Hat Trio, I've been listening to these for years, but they've only been suiting the buzz I've been on again lately, they also make good music to jam with on my melodica.

Oh, and I got my electric picnic ticket, rappih.

I was reading through Spike Milligan's unplublished works today, a few pages in his diary were crossed out, and in big red felt pen he'd written.

"IM SO LONELY"

And yeah, I'm pretty lonely too, Spike.

It's six in the morning, and the soft streetlight glows and gentle blueing sky remind me of Breaking and Entering, with Juliette Binoche, so I'm going to watch that now...
if I ever need to describe MDMA to anybody, I tell them to imagine the world if it was shot the same way as breaking and entering, (or Lost In Translation) the feeling is like the same, chillaxed softness that those movies have but in reality, lights seem delicate and drifting. A streetlight just popped off... that was cool, I dont think I've seen them to that before, did you know they get less orange as the morning brightens? me either...

I can't sleep, and I can't help but really miss alot of poeple I was good friends with when I was 14 , I'm going to start getting numbers and calling them, motherfucker.

I'm liking this guys photography alot, he managed to get the same composition and nude angularity (PL) of Egon Schiele's drawings.

And anybody who's talked to me about art, (i.e. nobody.) will know that I'm obsessed with Egon Schiele.

The same people who I talk to about art are the same people who read this, also i.e. nobody...
I'm just assuming some day all this will get found, when I'm dead...in two weeks.

Skaddam, and Spring clambers up towards the sky,
Mood latches on and shoots upwards,
Leaves and fireworks,
Violent explosions, pink and green,
Embracing the stratosphere with their span
Mellow sun drifty watchy,
Veridian ambience
Swelling slowly beneath a surface.
A nation of two drifts apart,
A nation of one makes the first steps forward.
A nation of two drifts apart,
Civil war is over.
Days get
longer.

Alright, I'm going to talk to you all about.

Aeon Flux (not the shitty movie, the original cartoon)

Photobucket
It originally previewed on MTVs "Liquid" show, a TV spot for independant, interesting animations, aimed towards the early morning adult crowd. (also on this was Life With Loopy, which was later shown in Nickelodeon's "Kablam" sketch show).

The original Aeon Flux shorts were around ten minutes long and contained virtually no dialogue, another interesting aspect of the animations were that the protagonist dies in every episode. The art work, and direction and colours and music are all top notch, and one thing that I LOVED was that the angular character drawings were based on the works of Egon Schiele (my favourite artist of all time) I can't get over how much I'm loving this cartoon. Thankyou Matthew Deasy, for the DVD lendin's. I'm a tad obsessed.

for now.

I want to stay in bed and die.
"that's alright, you're an artist, artists don't do anything until they're depressed"

I'm sick of living and I want to lunge my head into a toaster
"Think all you want, musicians don't write decent music until they're depressed"

I have stubbed my toe on the edge of existance and I want to shove myself infront of a speeding train.
Ah yes, but you write poems, poets don't write their best work until they're depressed.
(fucks to that)

I would rather use my hands to wring my own neck than touch another piece of clay.
Of course you would, but you ought to sculpt a masterpiece, because you're depressed.

And the paradox kicks in,
In the great struggle to express your distaste
Your creativity crawls toward a peak
but because everything you do and say is something
that makes your distaste for yourself grow
everything created gets cast aside

and you create a symphony of moans,
melancholy and desperate
and give up on music.

your poems fall short of any standard,
bitching and biting,
flowing like oil in a pond full of ducks.

sculpt your own demise
and claw for somebody to tell you how you feel
fall short of any standards
fall short.

shut up

Hey y'all, check it out. It's Woody Allen, and he's coming out of his shell...

Woody Allen was always something of an idol for me, he managed to be nervous and neurotic and still get birds, his skinny neuroticism makes people laugh, cry , and quote... why? Possibly just because it was on a screen... where's my large screen? My skinny neuroticism doesn't do very much at all, other than inconvenience me and make me drop expensive electronic equipment, a shatter of plastic and battery on a dodge ridden, chewing gum pavement...

goodnight cats.
